Hacienda La Minita is regarded as the flagship farm for sustainably grown coffee in the world. It is also the most meticulously prepared coffee in the world. It is grown between 1300 and 1800 meters and is processed at our mill, Beneficio del Rio Tarrazu. We believe this to be the world's most carefully grown, harvested, and processed coffee. Roasted to an ideal roast profile, this coffee satisfies any discerning drinker.

    Everytime I think about trying a new coffee - I remember my favorite, La Minita. A simple morning mouthful is all it takes to bring on smiles. Company often thinks it's a special purchase just for them. Out comes the Ziploc baggie so they can take the flavor home.
    My daughter, Jennifer, introduced me to this brand when she owned "Tyler's Old Fashioned Coffee Shop." She died two years ago but this coffee will always be remembered as 'our' favorite coffee.

    A friend brought me this coffee as a hostess gift, well I was hooked after the first cup. That was at least 8 years ago. My only concern is the price, wow has it increased, 62% since I bought my first order.. They should have a “frequent flyer” discount for those of us who are long time, regular customers.

    They do have the BEST customer service, should you have any problem.

    What a rich and robust cup of coffee! I CANNOT start my day without a cup or two of this wonderful coffee! My guests always rave about the fantastic coffee that we serve whenever we have visitors.

    I have been drinking La Minita for over 20 years. It is a bit hard to find, so I am thrilled that Distant Lands roasts it. I even bought the green beans one time and attempted to roast them myself. It was a disaster and I ruined my new cookie sheet, so I decided it was best left to the professionals. Best coffee ever.
