The AA grade designation for Kenyan coffee is similar in meaning to the Supremo grade of Colombian coffee. This refers to a large bean size and does not necessarily guarantee superior taste. Large beans are visually appealing and may indicate superior quality because the fruit was allowed to fully mature, but the taste of the coffee is far more important. We are extremely picky about the flavor of our Kenyan AA. We demand coffee that has the tangy acidity and blackberry overtones which make our Kenyan one of the world's most treasured and noteworthy coffees.
